Neuroethics and Mental Health Policy

As neuroscience advances, so do the ethical, legal, and societal implications of brain research and neurotechnology. This track explores critical issues such as informed consent in cognitive trials, data privacy in brain imaging, and the use of neuroenhancement tools in healthy individuals. Topics include the ethics of AI in mental health, equitable access to neurological care, and the impact of stigma on mental health outcomes. Policy discussions will focus on global mental health frameworks, disparities in neurological treatment, and advocacy for brain health as a human right. This track invites interdisciplinary dialogue between scientists, ethicists, policymakers, and clinicians.
